MOTIVATIONAL WORKSHOP
On 14/07/2019 a motivational workshop, ‘Creative Aspects of’ Education’ was conducted for the teachers of our school by Mr. V.S. Ravichandran, well known and popular Educational Psychologist and trainer. The workshop began by describing the evoluation of the role of a teacher, from being lecturer to facilitator, coach and mentor. In fact now, the teacher is responsible for the holistic development of students. Earlier, the content was teacher-centric but now it is student – driven. The content and context are now set in accordance with students needs. Mr. Ravichandran recommended the creating of dynamic learning environment by applying interesting content to hold the attention of students whilst simultaneously addressing their problems.
CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP
Haavad International School Organized Calligraphy Workshop for teachers as on 17/08/2019. Teachers participated with great enthusiasm. It was conducted by Mr. Krishna Prasad, the Calligraphist The workshop was started with pointing out the importance of excellence in handwriting at school level and how it benefits students for the rest of their lives and explained how Calligraphy functions as a cultural essence and must be handled down well from generation to generation. This class turned out to be very meaningful for the teachers since excellence in handwriting is not only to improve writing skills, but also to teach us about their unique structure and the beauty of the national language.
EFFECTIVE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT
In Haavad International School, “Effective Classroom Management” workshop was conducted by the Oxford Publishers on 19/10/2019. This workshop explored classroom management in the context of an active learner centered classroom and helped educators to redesign their classroom where learning is managed effectively instead of managing. This workshop was very effective for our teachers.

TEACHER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME
From 14/12/2020 to 16/12/2020, “Utilisation of Augmented Reality
and Virtual Reality (AR – VR) platforms for online teaching” was conducted by Bannari Amman Institute of technology.
Due to Covid-19, programme was conducted online. All teachers participated through online.
This programme was informative. It gave more tips to create virtual interactive live classes for all subjects.
On 05/12/2020, Teachers also attended Webinar Conference on "Getting It Right-Learning and Development in Early Years” which was conducted by Rama Mavuri Head of Early Childhood Education, Next Education.
